Every contact and dossier runs through a layered verification pipeline before it reaches your finance team.

Email Verification

Gather candidates from internal records, public web search, and known patterns at the donor's employer.
Validate the domain — confirm the company actually accepts mail and the format is real.
Probe the mailbox safely (no email is sent). Catch-all domains and disposable services are rejected.
Label confidence — mailbox-verified emails ship clean; pattern-only guesses are flagged.

Phone Verification

Gather candidates for each donor — mailing record, employer record, public web search.
Confirm the line is real against carrier records — mobile, landline, or VoIP, in service or not.
Score carrier identity match (0–100) by comparing the carrier's billing name and address against the donor's. 80+ is a clean match; below 70 means the carrier says this is not the donor.
Try alternatives when the primary number scores low — up to four backups, keep the best.
Check for reassignment so a number that's changed hands isn't delivered as if it's still the donor's.
